I started One Forty Films nearly ten years ago as a one-woman-band filmmaker. I was writing, shooting, editing, producing—doing whatever it took to bring stories to life. That hands-on start gave me a deep understanding of every part of the filmmaking process and shaped how I approach the work today. What began as a single camera and a lot of ambition has grown into a full production company, bringing together talented crews of directors, cinematographers, producers, and editors to create films at a much larger scale.
Entrepreneurship runs deep in my family. I come from a long line of people who built businesses from the ground up, so starting my own company always felt like the natural path. I grew up around people who weren’t afraid to take risks, figure things out as they went, and build something meaningful through hard work and persistence. That mindset has shaped how I’ve built One Forty Films from the beginning.
Today I’m the founder and director behind One Forty Films, where I collaborate with brands, agencies, and organizations to create cinematic campaigns, documentaries, and brand films. My work blends strong narrative concepts with elevated visuals, but what I care about most is the human side of storytelling—the moments of connection, humor, nostalgia, or emotion that pull people in. At the end of the day, I’m just chasing the same feeling that made me fall in love with storytelling in the first place: the kind of story that’s so good you forget about everything else for a while.

I’m an online educator for photographers and hired Jill to film the biggest online course I’ve ever made (for adventure wedding photographers). This course was 19 film days, in 4 states, over 10 months. Many of these days were 12-16 hours long… starting before dark, staying out late after dark, hiking up a mountain and shooting in the rain. There are very few videographers who could have even handled the logistics in shooting in these environments, much less handling it with such positivity, encouraging energy, and high production quality. Jill is insanely talented and cares so much about the quality of what she’s producing and the immense effort she put into this course truly made it a level above anything I could have imagined. I’ve worked with other videographers before in the past to create courses and the quality of what Jill has made is 10x better than anything I’ve seen before.
